LOW PRESSURE FLARE KF-LP-xx
This type most common used in plant installation. Gas stream to be flared must not be an inherent smoke producer. At flow rate flame will be close to tip and burn, for this tip designed with high temperature resistance material. Windshield equipped to prevent drawdown flame affected by wind which could burn tip body. Unique flame retainer placed to hold flame root at high exit velocity of gas stream. Dynamic seal placed prevent air ingress to flare header to ensure no flammable mixture in flare system.
In this type available many type of pilot ignition systems, flame front generator ignition, electronic ignition, or uses both ignition systems which one as main and other as back up. To ensure flame presence this type could be equipped by ultra violet or infra red.

BLOWER AIR ASSISTED FLARE

Heavy hydrocarbon combustion has luminous flame and smoke tendency. Waste gas stream in which most component is heavy hydrocarbon need more air for complete combustion. Unburn carbon particle show as black smoke.
This flare tip type gives smoke suppression by low pressure air blow method. Exit waste gas stream mix with air produced by blower at the top of tip. Top of tip designed swirl shape to give homogen waste gas-air mixing. Air quantity calculated considering the waste gas composition and the volume flow to ensure sufficient supply to produce complete combustion.
Complete combustion this waste gas has higher heat content tip, specially upper tip, designed with high temperature resistant material.

HIGH PRESSURE FLARE

High pressure of waste gas source allow higher allowable pressure drop. This high pressure flare tip designed for this propose with low initial cost
This type has wide range waste gas flow and limited at allowable back pressure. It designed for a sonic exit velocity. Sonic exit velocity maximize amount of air and improving combustion.
The feature is many branch of pipes which equipped with nozzle shape at the end of each pipe. Nozzle shape designed considering pressure and maximum flow.

UPPER LOWER STEAM ASSISTED

This flare tip type used external steam injection at the top and used internal steam inductor.
External steam injection induce around air to flame envelope from outside. Lower steam induce around air through pipe across flare tip to inside. Lower steam pressure designed able to inspirate around air counter each pipe resistant and gives sufficient air at the top of tip.
It usually operates as staging control, which both operates simultaneous at high flow rate waste gas.
As accessories, lower steam injection covered by plate as muffler to reduce noise affected from nozzle.
